KOO was part of the US Equities Realty master planning team for the analysis of the City of Chicago’s Planned Manufacturing Districts. The team comprehensively reviewed the existing Planned Manufacturing Districts and Industrial Corridors for physical and economic attributes. Part of this analysis included a benchmarking study of the regulation of industrial areas in other cities both regionally and nationally. Our team made recommendations to the City of Chicago on changes to the physical limits of the PMDs, use regulation and the establishment of commercial subdistricts within.
