KOO designed the interiors for the 62-suite Riversuites lifestyle hotel, a renovation of the 500,000 SF Philadelphia Electric Company powerhouse on the Delaware River. Occupying four floors of The Battery’s existing adaptive reuse complex, the hotel offers waterfront views, proximity to the Rivers Casino, and easy access to the culture, art, music, and food in Fishtown. Guest suites average 854 SF, with options as large as 2,266 SF and ranging from one to three bedrooms, each with a full kitchen. Several apartment-style suites feature patios or bi-level lofts, with sleeping rooms upstairs and a living room and kitchen below. The hotel incorporates unique architectural features from the existing building and features expansive common spaces such as co-working areas, a breakfast room, lobby gathering areas, and an indoor basketball court.  Strada, Architect of Record
